Cross E Ranch, Part 2

Out of order pic looking at the goats and baby goat.
They went down the giant slides a couple of times.

And back to the corn pit for more burying when it was SLIGHTLY less busy in there ha ha.

I think this is Adeline's hand completely covered.
Her head.
Evelyn is under there with the hood over her head.
Big corn belly.
The pig races are always a fun time.
And this time we went and saw some of the animals and putted the little horses which the girls really liked.

Adeline took this picture because he was SO cute.

Thanks Cross E Ranch. You are always a very fun time.

Saturday adventure Cross E Ranch, Part 1

Out of order pic of part of the obstacle course.
I bought some Cross E Ranch tickets back in March on a super sale, because I knew the girls would want to go this fall. Due to a TON of rainy weather the first half of the month, a lot of the weekends and days we could go it was closed. We finally had ONE last Saturday of the month and it was finally open and no bad weather so we spent most of the day there. Along with a LOT of other people. The corn pits are where we spent a LOT of time.

Getting half buried.

Heading to the corn maze area.
We did the mini and regular maze just fine. The mega maze said it had some mud but we opted to try it, but it definitely got a little too muddy for us and then we got lost and the girls started getting a little nervous, but luckily we found a big group and just followed them out. Phew!
Taking a break with some snacks and food for lunch.

Playing on the big bounce jump area.

Then they spent a little time on the obstacle course.
Therapy for Evelyn!

I was impressed with their strength.

Books and buddies, fall color, Evelyn's running club meet, skating and student council pics

Pretty fall color in our backyard.
I went to Books and Buddies with the girls a couple of weeks ago.

Got to see Evelyn do her job of "breakfast door holder". You can tell she was thrilled to get her picture taken ha ha.

The last 6 weeks, Evelyn has been doing a little running club at Vista after school on Tuesdays and Thursdays. It's purpose was just to introduce older elementary kids to the sport of running. Here she is before her meet at the end at Taylorsville High School.
Here she is coming on the first part of the race.

Working really hard around the track part.
Liam ran with her the last few meters before the finish line.
I was so proud of her. She got 6th in the girls race overall. Here she is standing with her good friend and neighbor Theodore on the podium.

And here is Couch C.
We went to a free "spooky skate" at the rec center. We thought there would be a lot of kids there, instead basically just my two girls for the hour we were there. It was still fun and they got a LOT of Halloween candy, but we just stayed a little over an hour.

Pretty fall sunrise.
