Out of order pic looking back on the bridge from the opposite side.
This was a little hidden tunnel off a side shoot on the way back.Memorial Day weekend, Liam ended up not having football, and Ryan ended up not having to go into work on the Saturday for sure, so I tried to find a different hike, but most still have tons of snow and would be a little too tricky. So we ended up doing the suspension bridge hike, which we have done last year around the same time, but it's a good one. I made my family all get up fairly early so we would beat traffic there, because last year, there were TONS on the trail and we had to park FOREVER away.
It was mostly overcast though, so not hot at all and no requiring of sunscreen! There were some cool hangliders we saw on the trail.Heading up the trail.Adeline wanted a picture by this sunflower.
Token all family picture before walking over the bridge.
Walking over the bridge.
Looking down at the river going down.
Heading back over. Here is Liam thrilled to walk over ha ha.

Seeing fairies and planting garden, and more of Adeline's art
Adeline drew this axolotl free style. She is getting so good! I think she drew this at school during free time. And a dragon.During Adeline's art class, Grandma, Evelyn and I wandered around and found all the alphabet fairies and Evelyn took some cute pictures.
And finally we got our garden planted. I'm doing much more simple garden this year. Mostly because no matter how much garden produce I want in May, I tend to let it go out of control and not manage it well later in the year. But it's good to finally have it planted.

Collin's bedroom remodel beginning
Out of order pic at the end.
I went and visited Collin working at Warrior World (school store) the last day it was open. He has really loved working at Warrior World and with Mr. Allred.
For a few weeks now, Collin has been planning/wanting to remodel his room. The first part was painting and prepping.
Painting the ceiling white.
Even that made a big difference!
The room is now painted it's a hard color to describe but kind of a green grey.
It does have some blue in it and some grey but also green. It's darker than what Collin told me it was, but it looks really nice.
We also painted his bed furniture black.
And his bookshelf and dresser we sanded and now they are kind of a slate blue maybe?
Almost done with painting the baseboards.
Still need to paint the closet doors and do a few touchups, but it looks VERY nice.

Evelyns Beauty and the Beast Up with Kids performance
Out of order pic of Evelyn in her village costume. This year Evelyn got to play the "medium Belle" and she had quite a few speaking lines and her own solo. She was SO excited. She did AWESOME! I can't upload videos here, but she spoke so clear and enunciated so so well, even compared to some older kids. Here she is just coming in to her first scene as Belle.
She also got to be one of the villagers in the "Gaston" scene. She was funny in this one too. She really has a flair for theater.
And she was a plate in the final scenes of the be our guest performance.
More of the Gaston scene.
Doing their finale song and bow. I LOVED when they did the Tale as Old as Time in sign language.
More final singing and performance language.
Evelyn's Belle with her on-stage mom. She really liked her mom.
Cute scenes of Evelyn as Belle after the performance.
With her really good friend Ondine who came to watch.
Our adopted grandma came to watch as well.
We LOVE LOVE director Miss Keaton. She is SO fantastic!
