Vista singing, advent calendar puzzle and white elephant game youth night

I went to the Vista singing performance. They split the grades up this year which made it MUCH MUCH better and smoother. Here is Adeline.
Last year for Christmas, Collin got Ryan a puzzle advent calendar so every night he and the girls do part of the puzzle.
Had musical white elephant night at the youth night.

And the Vista Christmas performance was great and I actually sat on the right side this year!

Luminaria Part 2

Eating our In n Out dinner at Ryan's office while he went to work for a little bit on Saturday night.
Part 2 of the Luminaria started with doing the Tree of Life. This was a really cool section and interpretation by the artist for this part of the Book of Mormon.
They had very cool lights along the path.
Here was the life size nativity.

This was the great and spacious building. This was really interesting to see the people behind the houses.

Here we are coming to get into the tree of life actual statue.

Adeline in front of the tree.

This was a big hanging light area.
I loved this section the most.
Reindeer lane.
Seeing the actual reindeer.

Adeline thought the reindeer was smaller than she thought.
The Fire and Ice show was really cool. Pictures don't do it justice.

The fire melted the ice part.

The light tunnel.

Another area I loved. This pink tree I loved.
Seeing the yeti mountain. This was a favorite part of all my kids, seeing the "Yeti" sleeping in the cave.
Walking down the super bright area.
Candy cane lane.

The hyper link. It was SUCH a fun time!

Big Saturday adventure Luminaria Part 1

I have been wanting to take our family to Luminaria for a long time. But it never seemed to work out a right day, or the tickets were sold out, or for other random reasons. When I got the tickets forever ago back on the super sale, the only time that was available was 445. So we got there about 430 and it wasn't quite dark yet, but I am SO SO glad we went early. We found great parking and it wasn't crowded at all. But when we were leaving there was a ZILLION people trying to find parking and every parking lot was packed. This was the blue stream lights that we liked.
Here we are going into the entrance. But no snow, and that was nice.
In the gingerbread area that was like the greenhouse part.
Being a gingerbread man.

Proof I was there and I was the coldest .Walking down the snowflake lane. In some ways I wish it would have been slightly darker so we could have seen it better but it was still nice.
The token whole family picture.

I can't remember what this area was. We were all so impressed by all the creativity of each little section and how different it was.
This was a really cool part. The flowers were lit up and they smelled like actual flowers!
These lighted steps were a big hit. They changed lights as you stepped on it so they were fun.
Adeline loved this tall tall tree.

More of the stepping stones.

This was a fun hit a tree that you could "play" and it made music. All the kids liked it.

Adeline liked these flowers that the top part changed colors when you touched them.
This was in a big hang out area and it was a fun yeti cave you could climb around.

You can't see well in these pictures, but they had these super huge fun red ornaments that I made my kids stand in front of.
The carousal was SO cute. I loved loved this section a lot.
Adeline also liked the horsies on a carousal.
More of the "singing" tree.
Proof Ryan and I were there and happy :)
Even Liam was willing to take a picture!
More running along the stones.
