Winter and snow finally arrive mid-February

Finally a decent snow storm showed up a few days after Valentines Day.

Anybody else have their early rising kids out at 7 playing in the snow?

After a second shoveling I took Adeline out once it calmed down.

Her exact words "Mom, I am just going to put this LITTLE bit of ice in the fridge. DO NOT tell dad!"

Finally convinced her after putting it in the fridge, to keep it outside, so this is her little snowman she built in a container.

Now it definitely looks like mid-winter not almost spring ha ha.
 

President's Day zoo trip and Adeline's octopus

To get out of the house and get away from screen time, took the kids to the zoo on Presidents Day.

It was a little chilly, but it was nice to get out. At least for me.

Check out this crazy gecko on the log. It was like he was sunctioned in there. It was nutso!

Adeline made this octagon octopus at preschool this week. I think it's the cutest thing she has made so far.

And Evelyn brought home this little heart magnet.
 

Valentines 2021

Adeline was SO excited to make her little valentine box for school.

I covered it with purple but she designed everything else. Totally unique.

I can't remember what those glued on purple papers are now, but they were VERY important.

One non school morning we went and picked up garbage behind the texas rhodehouse. We got at least 8 bags of garbage!

For her Valentine party, Evelyn wanted fancy hair.

Oh the fun of all the candy!

Can't remember what she was dressed up here as, but she was excited about it.

Girls go to Jump Around Utah on non kinder day

Due to SEP, there was a random Monday, Evelyn didn't have kindergarten, so I took the girls to jump around utah for sanity.

They had so much fun.

Evelyn can now climb up the huge inflatable all by herself!

Evelyn helped Adeline a few times climb up the big inflatable, but then....

they both were able to do it all by themselves. YEAH!

Good fun therapy for Evelyn's gross motor. They had a really fun time!
