Our first November zoo visit and Evelyn gets a painted face

 At the ward party, Evelyn got her face painted. It was so fun for her.

 Went on our first Tuesday zoo trip in November. It was SUCH nice weather. We only had to bring jackets, and even after an hour or so, the girls took off their jackets. I love warm fall weather!

 Watching gorillas. Every time I saw we are going to the zoo, Adeline says, "I don't want to see the gorillas" but if they are outside she likes them.

 Adeline said to me "Mom, take a picture of me with this fan". IT was hilarious. She was posing and everything.

LIam's cross country championship

 Liam had kind of been distracted by several things the week before the cross country championships. One, he was sick for a few days. Two, Halloween candy basically the diet the few days before since this was November 2nd. Third, he had started basketball the week before and was loving it. So, I wasn't sure exactly how the race would go.....

 He was in third place most of the race. I couldn't believe it.

 This last hill got him again, and the guy behind him got in front of him, dang it.

 But he finished strong, and beat his time again! His final time was 8 something. But about 20-30 seconds faster than his second race.

 Ending in fourth at the championships was pretty awesome. Afterward, I could tell he was feeling the race and not feeling super great, but he had given his all!

Great job Liam! It was so fun to watch you race this season!
