Apricot jam and ice cream

Evelyn I HELP MOMMY. She helped smash apricots for jam.

One day a miracle was seen in our house. Cranky Evelyn spent a good 15 minutes all by herself reading books in her room.

Getting treats and ice cream at Arctic Circle.

We went because Collin had earned his own free shake from school.

4th of July barbecue and fireworks

That night we went over to Barnhisels for the barbecue and fireworks. Evelyn LOVED the tramp.

I love this pic because it reminds me of a pic of Liam similar age with crazy hair and huge grin from trampoline jumping.

Bomb pops!

This year it was very abnormal. The boys were PYROMANIACS! They seriously would have lit fireworks all night long. This has never happened to us. I didn't get great pictures because Evelyn still didn't like them so I was inside with her for awhile. But, yeah, the boys thought it was awesome.

July 4 Silver Lake and parade

We went up with Ryan's sister and nephew to Silver Lake. They had already done a big hike earlier, so it was just us and Grant walking around. Evelyn LOVED walking around the lake.

Yeah we got to see Grant! The boys were very excited to have him stay a night with us. And play Monopoly.

Some day this girl's hair will be styled :)

The forest was awesome.

We barely got there for the parade, and it was half over, but the boys still got plenty of candy.

Brandon gave Evelyn a sucker. SUCKER! She was happy forever. She loves those dumb (ha ha) suckers.

What a great start to the holiday!

Summer fun with cousins

Sadee and Ava came down to visit us for a couple of days in June. We partied non-stop for four days. The beginning night we had Friday night floats, but on Tuesday. We were wild.

Went to Seven Peaks in Provo. They wanted to go back about ten million times.

Taking a break in the parking lot for lunch. Man did this bring back memories of Johnson Van Cafe vacations.

Evelyn zonked in the stroller.

We also went to Seven Peaks in Salt Lake one afternoon and evening until they closed at 8. The boys love jumping on this dragon thing across the water. Liam fell the first time right at the end, but then he was a pro.

2016 Taylorsville Dayzz parade

Apparently I haven't ever been to the whole parade, but I took the kiddos this year. Ryan ended up having to work that Saturday. But wow, did they give out a ton of candy. Apparently that was why my kids were so excited to go!
