Some fun random pictures

Here was Adeline with her birthday crown from preschool.
When we dropped off Evelyn at kindergarten I looked back to say something and she responded, "Mom! You have to be quiet! I'm doing meditation. Namaste" and then she bowed her head and closed her eyes. It was too funny.
Evelyn has been wanting to wear this dress ALL week. I told her it was too fancy and she could only wear it to church. We decided to do fancy hair too.

Trying to capture cute girls and cute flowers is hard.

On a rainy day, we broke out the 300 piece puzzle. I helped a little bit with the borders, but I would say 90 percent of this Evelyn did herself. She is a great puzzler!

Random zoo pics and we visit the zoo in a full on blizzard

Elsa in the house!
Showing me her quilt and singing the quilt song from preschool.
We decided to go to the zoo last week on Wednesday, even though it was chilly and raining at our house. Well, it was snowing when we got to the parking lot with no other car in sight. I figured we could just stay for a little bit and see the inside animals.

Having fun with the orangatuns. By this time it was starting to snow a little harder.
Much harder snow by the time we got around to the seals.

But we got to see the HUGE new male polar bear. It was only his second day on the exhibit and we were some of the first visitors to see him!

Walking back up the hill was a FULL ON BLIZZARD. The girls were hating me, and I was hating the snow, but we made it to the van safe, and made the trek off the zoo mountain safe (little sketchy in parts), and had hot chocolate at home.

This is "rosa relli" Adeline's new pet from preschool she named. Ha ha. She is funny.

BIrthday celebrations part 2, presents and dinner

Opening more fun presents!

Coloring the color wonderbook of Baby Shark she got.
And she was very nice to share with Evelyn.
The kids "really" set up a fancy restaurant for her birthday dinner. When I asked her what she wanted for her birthday dinner she replied, "birthday cake!" I told her she needed something besides that and she shouted "Popcorn and fries!"

So we ate popcorn and fries for dinner. I did make some hot dogs and shrimp for some people to have slightly more sustenance but the fries and popcorn were a hit!

The cake eating!

We are so happy you are four Adeline!
And playing with Grandma's lite brite she brought down for fun.

Birthday celebrations part 1-presents and decorating the cake

Getting to have Lucky Charms in the morning.
Coloring cute pictures before church.

Opening one of her presents.

The perfect gift from Auntie Kari, Sadee and Ava. More stuffed animals. She hugged those animals for a very long time!

Grandma and Grandpa gave her this adorable little animal play set in a suitcase. It was a big hit. And still is.
She wanted a pink cake for her birthday, surprise surprise. I tried a jello cake for the first time since she can't have jello right now since it can't be thickened.

All my kids love gummy bears on their birthday cakes. Collin designed a "4" for her.

Then she just wanted to fill her cake with the whole bag of gummy bears.
