Out of order pic of Adeline getting about halfway up!On the first Friday in May, the kids got out of school for a teacher workday, so we planned an afternoon/evening excursion. We went down to the Orem Temple and did baptisms. Collin and Liam came with us, they just didn't want pictures taken ha ha. Ryan took Adeline to a park during that time. The Orem Temple is laid out basically like the Taylorsville. It has a different parking set up and different colors, but it felt familiar and different at the same time. Pretty spring flowers.
We went to Black Bear Diner for dinner after. We all really liked it and it was a LOT of food. Everyone agreed the pancakes were huge!!! Collin and Liam both ate so much food it was ridiculous.
Then using our GetOut pass, we went to The Ruth theater to see (it's like the Hale theater of Utah County), to see the Wizard of Oz. I don't think any of our kids at least for sure the girls, had seen the original version. It was very good. Not to the level of the Hale by us, but still very good. The main characters were great. Then the day after, we used our GetOut pass to go to a DAYTIME (first for us) Real Salt Lake soccer game. It was fun to have warm weather and not be at night and freezing. We had seats in one of the end zones so it was shady the first half. And RSL scored two goals on our side that we were sitting on! The first half was much more exciting than the second half. And I took the girls to the Vista PTA carnival. They both really enjoyed climbing up the rock wall as high as they could several times.
They are both much better climbers than I am ha ha.
But the weather was a perfect evening. It got a little chilly for those just sitting, but it was great fun for the girls. Adeline got pretty far on one of her climbs. They also had bounce houses and snow cones.

Helping Sadee and Adam move, Adeline's art birthday card for me, and dilated eyes
A couple Saturdays ago, we helped Sadee and Adam move to a new apartment. It is even closer to us so now they live 5 MINUTES AWAY!!!Eating pizza as a thank you.In art class, Adeline made this sweet pop up card for me for my birthday. It was so sweet. Adeline also visited the eye dr. and got her eyes "pupilized" as she calls it, or dilated. She wanted a picture.
