We dyed eggs this year. Collin got a HUGE excitement out of it. He loved seeing the eggs turn colors. He especially liked when we colored the "magic" crayon on the eggs. 
Liam, he pretty much just wanted to make a mess, so he didn't get to dye too many :)
Not sure why we love putting dyed eggs over our head. 
Punching out the little circles is a fun thing to do for 3-year-olds.
Of course, Collin had 2 Cougar blue eggs. He is a true blue boy. 
Collin and I made a leprechaun trap this year. I figured it would be a hit because Collin is all about pretend....but....
Holy cow was it a hit! The leprechaun we tried to catch every night and didn't, but he would leave us a treat. Collin got SO into this..... seriously. It was one of my greater ideas.... so that will have to become an annual tradition.
This was going on a walk on St. Patrick's Day I guess... Collin must have been mad :)

Tradition continues. When we go take a drive to look at the lights, an elf brings a present. Collin got some "carry along" books, tractor, emergency, and train. He LOVED them of course.
He would not put the books down to see anyone else open the elf present.
Sadee and Ava got the new tangled barbie doll. They are ALL about Tangled this year.
This is what a girl would look like in our household. I guess if you play with girls who love to dress up, they dress up boys. Even though I was like, come on guys, Collin made a cute girl :)
Collin wasn't sure if he should be scared of Darth Vadar, or attack him.
But, he became a fan of the light sabre.

Collin's little cousin Kyle was Yoda, oh my goodness he was so cute. He is about 4 months older than Collin.
I think Collin's favorite part was the donut game. Now, Collin is familiar with donuts, because his mommy is a spoilover and often has to buy him one to survive a trip to the grocery store with him. This game you weren't supposed to touch the donut to eat it.
Yeah right. Collin just ran over there and POUNDED that thing.
He tried to actually eat another one too. Thanks for fun Halloween parties!
We barely found out about it in time, so here is Collin and I inside the fire station. We just watched the bigger kids hunt, I wasn't about to have Collin running around in the little kid area just eating chocolate. HA HA.

The onslaught begins. Sadee just stayed in one little spot and got a LOOT!
I mean, this was easier than Halloween. Stay in one spot, 10 minutes later, a HUGE truckload of candy. Man, I wish I was 6 again...
And this was GOOD stuff. Skittles and Snickers. My favorite.

Collin just wanted to get on the fire truck....so we did after the hunt was over.
Collin liked the fire truck best. He kept saying "truck!" with real enthusiasm.
We also got to meet Sparky, the fire dog. And Sadee and Ava shared their chocolate. 
Opening the basket was like 2 girls' dream...
Dying eggs we did at least twice. Collin was more content to sit in the back. Sadee and Ava really got into it.
Several of the eggs "had injuries" like back surgery, brain surgery, one eye, etc.
But, I said those eggs we can still dye. It was hilarious all the things they were making up to solve the egg crack problems.

But everyone was calling him Santa Baby at the party. He's a toddler, but still a cute Santa baby :)

While we were there, Grace got baptized. She asked me to give the baptism talk, which was my first ever. Congrats Grace!
This was Collin's pumpkin. He loved to take the top of him off and roll him around and look through the eyes and nose and figure out what was going on in there.
Sometimes the pumpkin got the best of him and rolled away.
We took Collin trick-or-treating to a few houses of our neighbors before anyone else started showing up. Lucky for me, Ryan went and got me a witch's hat so I put together a quick witch costume and he was Captain Kirk.
