Hogle Zoo visit

Out of order pic in the new Wild Utah visit. They were doing enrichment for the snake inside. The kids got to draw on the windows.
Recently, when Ryan was in Colorado for his reunion, I took the kids to the zoo. We haven't really been for a few years, ever since we haven't renewed our zoo pass due to kids getting older, in school, choosing other activities instead. It was a fun break. It was our first zoo visit in a LONG time on a Saturday. Here we are by the giraffes.
There was a baby giraffe in the distance.

Iconic lion statues.

My kids look SO SO big compared to the gorilla now. I remember when the gorilla was HUGE compared to them :)
Same here! Man my kids are getting big.

Since we have visited a few years ago, they don't have elephants anymore at our zoo, which was kind of sad. They had some cool horses in this area now.
But the elephant weight calculator is always fun still.

Had to go back to the playground for nostalgia purposes.

And now it is NO big deal for any kid to climb up on top of the rocks ha ha. They are all mountain goats.

Splash pad memories. Oh man. We relived a lot of memories on this visit.
And either this nest got WAY smaller than I remember or my kids are huge!
This was Adeline's favorite statue all when she was a toddler. She had to give it a hug.

The sea lions are still so fun to see swimming around.

They had redone a lot of parts of the indoor exihibit by the sea lions.
Adeline's favorite polar bear.

They had all these chalk artists doing drawings. They were SO amazing.
Grandma's house, always a favorite, except now it's called cat corner.
Yeah for fun memory walking at the zoo!
