Our third day was definitely on the colder side. Can you tell just by looking at this picture? This is where the St. Lawrence River meets the Bay of Fundy water from the ocean. The tide is the strongest in the world here, so the difference in tide is something like 40 feet. It's so strong that it will push the river back for miles. We just saw a small part of the "flax tide" when it was already going out, but it would be amazing to see a whole day difference.
In front of the Saint Johnbridge.
Saint John is fairly hilly. Our AMAZING guide Abdul said it gets over 4 meters of snow in the winter. So it is definitely cold. But it was beautiful. Again, sight of oceans in the background is lovely for me.
An old fort.
Another view of the city from by the fort.
Crazy beautiful old house that supposedly is haunted.
The chimney looking this way you can "see" a witch.
More around Saint John as we are getting further out toward St. Maarten.
Can you tell it was windy? Geesh, my hair is going everywhere.
A lot of the leaves in this part had fallen already. Abdul said last week every day was rainy and cold and that brought all the leaves down, but before that it was gorgeous of course :)
Heading out toward St. Maarten.
The St. Maarten lighthouse. This was so cool to see it right along the rocks.
This island with the tide, at high tide is COMPLETELY covered minus a small small little part on the very top. The tide had already started coming in so we couldn't walk out to it, but isn't that crazy!
Looking over the rocks.
below are pictures from Ryan's phone of simliar things.
Me and the lighthouse.
