We did a bigger Saturday adventure last Saturday, May 31st. This is out of order but the last thing we did was go see the Scarlet Pimpernell at the Spotlight Performing Arts Center in Centerville. It is just for kids and most of the kids in this production were 14-18. I had no idea how it would go over or if the girls would even follow it. I was pretty sure Collin and Liam would like it. It was GREAT! And they had reasonably priced snacks which was awesome. Liam said it was the best show he has seen. That is high praise from him. Granted, I knew he would like this one more than a disney one.But it was a very late night and we didn't get home until 11 :)Our adventure started with going to the Syracuse Temple open house. It was the last day. It was a HUGE temple. It is the first temple with 2 baptistries. And it had my gorgeous sky blue color and my favorite bright dark green in the stained glass which I loved.
Making my kids all take a picture outside.
Making them walk around once :)
Ah! The pretty sky blue color!Mostly I wanted to take the girls to see inside of another temple. I think the more you can see inside the better before you actually go do ordinances there. And this time you got to go through the dressing rooms which posed well for questions from them. After we pounded food at In n Out. Yes, sometimes I plan to eat out. Even though my kids say we never do. And everybody (minus Ryan) got a shake. So sometimes you even get a TREAT in addition to eating out.
Then we went and killed about 30 minutes shopping at DI for Liam some new church shoes. And Adeline bought a wallet which she was so excited about! It was a good Saturday adventure!
