Hogle Zoo visit and Adeline shrine

One Wednesday morning in October, I took the girls to Hogle Zoo. It feels like we don't get there much anymore, but it was a fun visit.

We got to see the 2 new polar bears which was really fun!
I made Liam cut his hair because of all his "hair twirling" was causing him bald spots in his hair. NOT GOOD! Here is the biggest one behind his ear. Now that his hair is shorter, no more twirling.
 Adeline shrine pictures coming up.
That tongue is out ALL ALL ALL the time. ALL the time.

Yep tongue again. But I so loved this last picture.
Hanging out raking our zillions of leaves. Tongue out and in position :)
Look mom! I am so strong I pulled over the chair! (Luckily not on top of her head!)

Leatherbys and Sunday pictures

It's no secret our family loves ice cream. Collin got a special Leatherby's gift card from his old scout leader for his birthday and so one night we all went. Collin was SO excited that his ice cream was going to be all for him. It was awesome of course.
This was all Collin's. He didn't even finish it all. I couldn't believe it.
 Sister pictures before church.

Adeline was so excited to wear such a fancy dress!
I told Liam my heart goes pitter patter every time he wears a suit. He gets all sheepish, but now that his hair is cut and not rag muffin I made him take a picture. Then he had to take silly pictures too.

Ava gave Evelyn this adorable fancy coat that she gets to wear on Sundays. She LOVES it. Every Sunday she says, "I wear my fancy coat from Ava mom!". It's a big hit.

Bean Museum and Halloween decor

Ryan had a 20-year mission reunion at the end of September so we went down a little bit early and went to the Bean Museum as a family activity. My had it changed and been remodeled since we went there on a date many years ago. The boys loved this part that talked about sharks of course.
 Evelyn loved this little slide.
The jaguar in here was actually scary. NO way would Evelyn go inside.
 Studying ant hills.
Adeline hanging out in the carrier.
 Headed on a pajama walk.
We break out the jumper for Adeline. She likes it.
Helping the witch's house decorate for Halloween.
The boys loved helping her place "bones" and things.

Evelyn's outpatient therapy begins and her mommy/daughter date

So in September Evelyn began occupational therapy at the outpatient Primary Children's Clinic. We go basically every two weeks. She was a little resistant at first, and sometimes still is, but her therapist Allison is really good at letting her go to "the gym" to try stuff which she likes lots more than in a classroom. That gym is AWESOME! Picture any kind of super fun thing and it is in there. The focus lately is on strengthening her arm and shoulder and movement. She loves the big swings.

Evelyn's kid date turn was in September. She chose to go to a play place and get hot chocolate and fries. Simple. She loved it.

More therapy swing time.

Adeline shrine and misc. other pictures from Sept

Most mornings if the weather cooperates, Ryan takes the big kids on a morning ride and they are looking at Snail City. It's quite exciting to see.
Reading books to Adeline on the bed. Adeline adores books already.

 Tummy time with Liam :)
 Shout out for Cougars.
 Cool moon.
 More Cougar poses.

Adeline is starting to sit up on her own. She thinks she is so cool.

Hello pretty baby. I have a picture of Evelyn wearing this same dress in the mothers lounge at church. They look a little different because Adeline kept making faces at me. And blowing raspberries. Her new favorite thing. And pulling Evelyn and I's hair.
