Liam's black eye and we make ice cream

 Last week, Liam fell off his scooter, and unknown to us at the time, bot himself a serious, serious black eye. He woke up from nothing to this! These pictures don't even do it justice.

 Eventually, it even got even more pronounced than the above picture and started going down all along the inner part of his eye.

Finally broke out the ice cream maker for the first time to make brownie bite oreo ice cream. Big hit. Can't wait to try other kinds.

Break out the pool and dumpsters

 Early in June we had several 90 plus degree days. Finally broke out some of the at-home pools. Evelyn got to graduate to a bigger pool. She LOVED it.

 She loved her slide going in the pool even more.

 Also the dumpsters came in June. You wouldn't believe how fun it is for little boys to throw things in the dumpsters.

 Even Evelyn was obsessed with throwing things in the dumpsters. We got rid of a lot of stuff!

And Evelyn got to play in the water table which she loved too.

Summer fun-In n out, second to last game soccer

 Implemented a new summer chore/help mom out schedule this year, that has worked fairly well so far, but it's only been three days :) This past Friday, I let the boys go to In n Out for lunch to redeem their free reading hamburger coupons. They thought it was awesome. Yes, Collin is wearing a long sleeve ninja shirt in 90 degree weather.

 Even though Collin's soccer team hasn't won any games, he is really good at goalie. He stopped every shot when he was goalie at this game! Go Collin!

Summer fun-zoo night and splash pad!

 Went to the zoo night on a non-rainy night! The boys wore their swimming suits so we could do the splash pad.

 Evelyn loved to walk around the zoo. This picture was so sweet. I couldn't believe how less busy it was compared to the last zoo night, probably due to so many high school/college graduation nights, but it was AWESOME not to have hardly anyone there. And perfect weather.

 The grizzly bears were literally right up against the glass. A bit scary, but awesome at the same time.
