Trip to zoo day before Thanksgiving

 Since the kids got out of school the day before Thanksgiving, and got up WAY early, I decided to take the kids to the zoo since the boys hadn't been in awhile. It was chilly in the morning, but then it was sunny even though it was still slightly cold.

 The gorillas were fun to watch.

 The orangatuns were especially fun and playing around. Acara came right up to the glass to watch Evelyn.

The elephants were doing the pumpkin smash! Then they pounded eating those pumpkins. That must be a real treat for them. They literally "ran" from one side to the other when the door to the pumpkin came open.
