So, no pictures yet, but today, Collin has the firstlings of his first tooth poking through... my little baby is getting so big! I honestly got teary when I heard the news. Since many of you have children, give me some advice on the best thing(s) to do for a teething almost 7 month old. It has come WAY faster than I was thinking! I haven't even been able to find out what I am supposed to be doing, other than giving him lots of loves...
I learned about Hylands natural teething tablets with Hannah and used them with all 3 girls. They worked best for us.
ReplyDeleteWe just gave Quinn some baby tylonol- dose recommended by our pediatrician- and that helped her a lot. Beware the runny nose and keep tissues on hand:)
ReplyDeleteAlisa,
ReplyDeleteWe all had our first tooth and we all turned out fine. Look at the 3 Johnson babies. i would say tell him to tough it out, it is good for him.
We used Orajel and Tylenol. We also just let them tough it out . . . they survive! Good luck!
ReplyDeleteMy kids liked chewing on jerky. It massaged their gums and helped alot. It is a bit messy though so beware. However, you pick your battles. A crying, miserable kid or bits of slobbery jerky everywhere? Plus I used lots of baby Motrin. Nothing beats Motrin.
ReplyDeleteI used Orajal with Corin and also put frozen food (like sliced peaches) in a mesh teether or just a cold teether as well.
